Unwinding the Path

The path unwinds; Expose a night that brings Neither song nor speech; Clever darkness Asks each in turn What simple silence slides Across your windows?

Thoughts evolve to deed To win the contrary heart; Unleash memories Immense and faded; Green vines cling To inner walls.

A concentration of hints Point the way Around the bend; Wide waves of glass Reflect futures found; Horizons gently touched.

Time leads generations To weave the knots Of our lives; Then unweave them; Stay focused with The wind at your back; And in simple knowing We find, there and there And there — Home.
